Review: Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub

You probably have use a face scrub before. But do you know that there is lip scrub?

Innisfree Lip Scrub feels cooling during scrub. It did removes dead skin from my lip and leave it smooth without peeling. But it is a little drying to me. I need to apply lip balm after use.

This is simply a lip scrub from Innisfree.

How to use Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub?

1. Cleanse and dry lip. 
2. Apply appropriate amount on lip.
3. Rub gently for 10 sec to 1 minute using finger. 
4. Wipe off with tissue. 

My Review
Dead skin cells affect our skin condition. Therefore, it is important that we scrub our skin. Yes, by now all of us would have been familiar with this sentence and try to make an effort to scrub our skin regularly. 

But do you know that our lip equally produces lots of dead skin and residue? These affect the condition of our lip and in long run, causes crack and dry lips. 

And the bad thing is, we remember to scrub our skin but we don't scrub our lip as we don't know there is such thing as lip scrub. 

Well, reading this post means by now you know lip scrub exist. And actually, this is the first time I use lip scrub too. 😅😆

I have crack lip history. So knowing there is such thing as lip scrub draws my attention naturally. 

Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub came in a small tube. Ok, reasonable to me as how big can our lip be. A small tube probably will last for a long time.

The hole opening is small as well. A light squeeze is needed to squeeze the scrub out of the tube.

The scrub itself is creamy but contain grainy texture. Looks a little beige to me. 

How the scrub look like.

It doesn't feel really oily. During rubbing, it does feels cooling. Just feel like applying lip balm minus the stickiness plus feeling the small little grainy particles rolling on my lips. It's just nice, not too rough to me.

I tried using cotton pad to wipe the scrub off my lip. But somehow I don't quite feel comfortable. It's just like the scrub is still on my lip. So I actually wash off the scrub instead.

It does remove the dead skin cell, especially those that I did not remove my lipstick properly. My lip feels smooth without peeling. Although it is not over drying, I still feel that it not moisturizing enough. I need to apply lip balm after use.

Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub can be bought from Innisfree retail store. But recent search online, cannot seem to find the product information from their official SG site. Not sure if its still selling in Singapore. You may want to ask from Innisfree retail store.
