My Review
Yum Yum Yum!!! Who can resist Japanese food? Especially Sushi.

Last Saturday afternoon, I received a bag with 4 types of sushi and 1 appetizer from Sushi Delivery Singapore. Delivery details are written nicely too on the bag.
Delivery came nicely packed.
Each type of sushi and appetizer are nicely packed and labelled. What I like most is that they are very generous with the wasabi and soy sauce. More that what I needed. Also, the packed container looks really beautiful and presentable to me.
Foods are packed nicely.
Generous amount of sauces given.
All the sushi and appetizer looks so delicious and attractive especially the container holding the Mango Maki.
Delicious and attractive Sushi and Appetizer.
So how do they taste? Let me feed your eyes starting with the appetizer.

Yam Net Sponge Roll (5 pieces)
Crispy vermicelli on the outside wrapping a generous amount of sweet potatoes paste inside.
Yam Net Sponge Roll (5 pieces)
The Yam Net Sponge Roll is still hot when it is delivered to me. The net on the outside is really very crispy. Even when placed on the table for sometime, it is still crispy.
Crispy Vermicelli on the outside and sweet potatoes paste inside.
The roll is not greasy at all. Also, it is full of rich, sweet and fragrance sweet potatoes taste. Those sweet potatoes fans out there will surely love this roll.
How the inside looks like.
The vermicelli net on the outside balance the sweet taste so it does not feel too tired after eating. But for an appetizer, I personally feel that it is too much. The amount look more like a main dish to me. 😁

Tamago Maki (1 Roll)
Simple sushi rice roll with tamago (Egg).
Tamago Maki (1 Roll)
I must say that I really love the sushi rice from Sushi Delivery Singapore. They are very fragrance. Rich in sushi vinegar taste and just perfect for this simple Tamago Maki.

In Between my bites, I can taste the light tamago sweetness. Not too sweet thanks to the sushi rice's fragrance.

The size of the Maki makes it a perfect snack for tea break or even when you are watching your movies and drama series.

Salmon Maki (1 Roll)
Simple sushi rice roll with salmon.
Salmon Maki (1 Roll)
Same as the Tamago Maki, the rice is very fragrance. Salmon is fresh as well.

However for sashimi lovers, they may find it no kick as before they are able to taste the salmon, its already inside their stomach. (Never mind, sashimi lovers can always order their sashimi set 😁) But those who are afraid to eat sashimi can give this a try though. I try it on my mom and she is able to accept it. :) Good starter for sashimi beginner.

Mango Maki (8 Pieces)
Sushi Roll with cucumber and Unagi inside, wrapped with Mango on top that is dressed with mayonnaise and tobiko (fish roe).
Mango Maki (8 Pieces)
I love anything with mango. Therefore of all the sushi here, mango maki is the first one that catch my attention.

The maki contain mango fragrance taste that is not too overwhelming. In between bites, I am able to burst the fish roe. And also the crunchy cucumber makes the mango maki refreshing.
Cucumber and unagi inside the mango maki.
Unfortunately, I can't taste the unagi that is in the maki.

But overall, all the ingredients blend well with each other. The aftertaste of the mango makes me want to pop more mango maki into my mouth.

Taiyou Century Egg Maki (8 Pieces)
Sushi roll with cucumber, tamago and Crab meat on the inside, drizzled with sauces made from century egg yolk, topped with chopped century egg, tobiko roes and spring onions.
Taiyou Century Egg Maki (8 Pieces)
Century egg on sushi??? I am really very curious about this maki. Because after all, century egg produce this mud aftertaste when eating alone. So how does it fair putting them into sushi??

Well, to me, after tasting it, I find them surprisingly delicious. The sauce made with century egg yolk is well done and well balanced without any mud aftertaste. It is not too heavy. It is really hard to describe how the sauce taste like but to me, it is a very special and new sauce.
Drizzed with sauce made from century egg yolk.
The fish roes and cucumber adds to the refreshing feeling of the maki. No mud taste from the century egg on top either. The whole maki taste sweet and refreshing.
Cannot lay my hands off the sushi.
Overall, the sushi and appetizer taste really delicious and refreshing. It is great for parties too as the sushi came very presentable and tasty. I like the sushi rice especially. It taste more fragrance than the usual once I had.

Which one do I like best from the above? Well, I thought I will like the mango maki best given how much I love mango. But surprisingly, the Taiyou Century Egg Maki left such a special and delicious taste to me that I cannot stop thinking about it. So for the first time, century egg wins mango here. 😅

For those who love to try fusion maki, I think mango maki and taiyou century egg maki will be what you are looking for. Not to worry too for those who love traditional maki as they do have simple single ingredient bite size maki for you.

My Review
Last month, I received 3 travel size samples from Daily Vanity to try on the New Lancome Clarifique Dual Essence.
3 sample travel size Lancome Clarifique.
It is label as essence. But I use this to replace both my toner and essence. I apply only this dual essence before my moisturizer.

This essence looks transparent in color. And I can see that there is actually 2 layer, a thin layer of oil on top and liquid layer at the bottom. Therefore, it is important to shake the dual essence well before pouring it on the cotton pad.
Thin layer of oil on top of the essence.
The essence has a light non greasy texture. And there is some kind of light fragrance smell to it.
Dual essence on the cotton pad.
Right after application, my skin feels refresh, hydrated and touches smooth.

1 and a half weeks of day and night use, it does show slight result on my skin. I can see that it does slightly improve my dull skin. Also, I notice my whiteheads around my nose area lessen.
Before using it.
After 1 and a half week of using it.
Not sure if I have captured the slight improvement properly on photo. But I did really see very small improvement with 1 and a half weeks of using. I am quite satisfied with the result given this short usage period.
