Are you those who go crazy seeing Shepherd's Pie?Then you will definitely love the Shepherd's Pie that I am going to introduce to you in a moment. 

I love Shepherd's Pie and I used to have them once a week at my work cafe until one day, my company change the cafe and I haven't had my Shepherd's Pie since. Last week, thanks to Shepherd's Pie Singapore, I had the chance to taste delicious and freshly baked Shepherd's Pie.

My Review
Last weekend's dinner is a different one for my family. Thanks to Shepherd's Pie Singapore for delivering hot and delicious shepherd's pies for my family's dinner. 

I love shepherd's pie. So I was really looking forward to it. 

The shepherd's pie came late afternoon towards evening, nicely pack in a black box. Labelled clearly what is inside.

I have with me, 1 mini beef pie, 1 mini and 1 medium chicken pie. I still can feel the heat of the pie when I hold the box. Yes, they are still hot when they arrived. And I can smell nice cheese fragrance when I open up the box.

Beef Shepherd Pie
Only I eat beef. So naturally, the 1 mini beef pie goes to me.😄 The moment I deep my spoon into the pie and pull it out, I can already smell nice mixture of beef with cheese fragrance.

The mashed potatoes taste fluffy and melts in my mouth. 

The cheese on the very top is chewy. 

The beef mix with very little amount of vegetables inside, taste sweet at first but as I chew longer, very light amount of pepper can be tasted. I can taste the beef but it is not too gamey, just nice to me.

When all combine into 1 mouthful, a very delicious Shepherd's Pie indeed!!!

The chicken shepherd's pie had the same consistency in term of the taste as the beef shepherd's pie. Just that instead of tasting beef, I taste chicken.

The chicken taste very tender. The sauce taste pretty much the same as the beef one to me, sweet at first but peppery towards the end. 

I must say, the fillings and the mashed potatoes ratio is just nice to me. You won't feel tired eating too much of it.

There is nothing I can really fault about for these pies. But if you really want me to pick the bones in an egg, then I shall say, maybe a little more carrots and corns will be even better for me as I love vegetables. This will give the meat a tad of vegetable taste.  (Can I have Vegetable Shepherd's Pie in future?😁😝)

Shepherd's Pie is always a great food to have for any occasion, especially during tea break, lunch and dinner with friends and family. It goes well with a cup of tea or even over a cup of wine. It is convenient and very filling.

For the healthy conscious folks, potatoes is in the same section as rice and noodles in the food pyramid. So I must say it is sometimes great to replace rice with potatoes in your meals. They are lower in calories and fats, higher in fiber and same proteins as compare with rice.

For my family that day, we realize that the shepherd's pie actually goes well with the fired wanton skin!!! Ok not very healthy but it is really a very delicious pairing I must say.

My Review
Thanks to Sasa event last year, I finally gets to try Suisse Programme Advanced Cellular Boosting Solution. 

This boosting solution came in a very nice dark purple box.

It came with a pump. For me, I use 2 pumps for each application.

I actually use this boosting solution as my serum. It has a transparent watery gel texture. Thicker than toner but lighter than gel. And I notice there is some shimmer in the solution.

I do smell some light perfume like fragrance. This solution is non-sticky and not oily when apply. It is easy to absorb but feels a little cooling while applying maybe due to the alcohol ingredient inside. This ingredient may turn off people who have great concern of alcohol for our skin in long term. 

I have use it for around 1 month already. My skin feels smooth and hydrated and it helps to keep my skin less tired. And it works well with other skin care products.

But I don't find it helpful for whiteheads, in turn caused blemish on my skin.

This solution is still OK to me but the alcohol ingredient and the price, I think I will still think over if I will continue with this product.

Review: 3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages

3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages (5pieces/box)

Bandages is an essential item in our first aid tool box. But do you know that apart from the normal plaster we often seen, there is this special plaster from 3M Nexcare that better takes care of our wound.

One month ago, I have a series wound on my forehead and this 3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages save my wound. It makes my wound heal faster, less scar, no bruise and no pain. I really find this bandage amazing and thus share them with you.

How to use 3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages?

1. Clean wound thoroughly, release liner and apply bandage to wound. 
2. Bandage swells up and turns white as it absorbs the exudate from the wound. 
3. Remove and replace with new bandage when exudate starts to leak. 
4. Remove bandage when surface becomes flat and wound has healed.

My Review
Everyone have seen and used plaster before. For me, I only used those normal plaster, at most normal plaster that is waterproof. 

I have never seriously look at other plaster that is around in store. Until one month ago, when I had a very bad and deep cut right in the middle of my forehead. 

I came across 3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages, thanks to my buddy who still manage to choose an amazing plaster for me although she is really panic that day. (🙈 More panic than me.)

This 3M Nexcare Hydrocolloid Bandages came in a box of 5.

Each piece came seal in plastic. 

How each piece of plaster look like.

To use, tear open the plastic and take out the plaster.

Open up the plastic to retrieve the plaster.

There are 2 side to the plaster, numbered 1 and 2. Number 1 stick to the skin while number 2 is the non sticky side that face up.

Be careful after removing the plastic from number 1 side of the plaster. As the transparent sticker is very thin, it will easily stick together if it is not handle properly.

After number 1 side of the plastic is removed.

After removing both side of the plastic, stick the plaster onto the wound, making sure the wound is landed on the gel pad in the middle. The plaster looks really transparent on the skin. It is waterproof too. So I do not really need to worry much about it after sticking on it.

After sometime, the wound area will turn white. This is perfectly normal.

One thing I do not like about this plaster is that the sticker area turns really sticky, making it difficult to remove. Even after remove, there will be sticky stuff left on my skin and I really need to take sometime to really clean it off before sticking on new plaster.

But this plaster really amaze me. I actually immediately stick this plaster after cleaning my wound that day. To my surprise, I don't feel pain at all and there is no sign of bruises. My wound is really deep but with the help of this plaster, my wound heal really fast and also beautifully heal with less scar. My wound is actually visibly shorter and less deep only after 1 day of applying.

Because my wound heals beautifully with this plaster, it really save me a lot of trouble, I now have to just apply scar healing gel and wait for it to be fully invisible. No more harden blood on the wound for my itchy finger to peel.

I really find this plaster amazing. Which is why I feel like doing this review to share with everybody. I hope you will never need to use plaster but if you need (Touch wood), there is this plaster that really helps. Especially if the wound is on the face.
