Are you looking for harmless toner that will benefit your skin? 

I have a chance to try out Skylake Oriental Herb Relax Toner.

The toner has a transparent watery texture. Although it contain mostly herbal and plant ingredients, I can't really smell anything from it.

Also, I only found out that this toner is edible!!! Well, I don't dare to try it. But am really glad that it is really a harmless and gentle toner. 

My skin feels really refreshing after spraying and it is absorbed well by my skin. It prepares my skin well for other skincare application. I like it that it can be apply to eye area as well.

Although it is better to spray directly, but when I first use this toner, I still like it used with cotton pad. Reason is that I tend to spray out of my face, wasting the toner. But after using for sometime, my aiming is more accurate, I have been spraying it. Feels more refreshing spraying than using cotton pad.

During the first few weeks, I really cannot tell what is the different using this toner. Soon, I started to realise that my oil control is much more balance. This have in turn helps lessen the appearance of blemish, making my skin more manageable. 

I have slowly grow to like this toner. Will highly consider to use it as my permanent toner.

It's been long since I last attended an event. That's why I am so excited when I know I have won a pair of entry to Panasonic Beauty Experience 2019 last weekend. 

The Panasonic Beauty Experience 2019 Event is held at The Great Room Ngee Ann City.

I was there with my buddy Rena and we are group into teams according to the ribbon we received. Mine was champagne color. Very pretty ribbon. 😍

The event started off with demo to the star product of the day, Panasonic EH-NA98 Premium Hairdryer. This hairdryer is really attractive to me. Check them out at Panasonic website. Besides the hairdryer, we have learn some styling tips as well as Cosme Decorte makeup and skin care products too. 😁

Then came the exciting part where we will get to experience our styling and makeover session. The session is divided into 5 stations.

How is everyone's festive celebration going? For me, I have a good rest and great time spending with my family. Now, it's time I lock my lazy bone into the cupboard and start my next review. 

Back in 2017, I was being introduced to a new brand of Secret Essence by su:m37°. I have been using them for quite sometime now. I love how it helps to maintain the health of my skin. So here I am, sharing my experience with all of you who are reading my post right now.

This little elegant looking bottle of su:m37° Secret Essence helps to keep my skin manageable. My skin stays hydrated and less days my blemish friends visited me.

How to use su:m37° Secret Essence?
After using toner, take a small amount of the essence (size of a coin) and smooth over face. Lightly pat on the face for more than 10 seconds.

My Review
I am sure all of you would have heard of Secret Essence and how it benefits your skin. 

In 2017, I came across this new brand of Secret Essence from su:m37°. And lucky me won a bottle of it. Since I won it, I use it. And I really love it very much. 

I love the bottle holding the essence. It look so elegant. But I have to be careful not to break it as it is made of glass.

They did really take care of every detail of the packaging. Even the top of the cap is beautifully designed.

Using it is really easy. I just need to remove the inner stopper that is blocking the hole then pour the correct amount onto my palm and use it.

The essence itself has a watery non oily texture. Looks like water to me and I didn't really smell anything as well.

The essence is easily absorbed by my skin. Skin feels supple. It prepare my skin well for applying other skincare products after that. 

I have been using it for a long time already. The benefit I see on my skin is that it is more hydrated. This makes my skin less oily and so less blemish days. Skin looks slightly less dull and slightly smoother. 

Overall, I love the effect this essence had on my skin. I will definitely continue to use it for an even better and healthier skin.

Let me introduce to you Poon Confectionary Homemade CNY Goodies. Yes they are freshly handmade with nutritious ingredients. No MSG, preservatives or added flavour. Great, at least I know I am eating safe and not eating chemical into my stomach.

I have 4 of their CNY goodies with me. And I can't wait till CNY to eat them. They became my tea break snacks. 来来来 (Come X3 in Chinese)....let me tell you if they are delicious.

For me, pineapple tarts is 1 CNY goodies I will definitely buy every year. I am a fussy pineapple tart eater. There are very little brands that can please me, not even those famous once. 

I must say, Poon Confectionary did a great job on their pineapple tarts.

The pineapple tarts comes with thin skin with lots of fillings. Skin does not have too strong butter taste (definitely acceptable for those who are scared of butter taste). The pineapple fillings are not so sweet and not too sour.

Size of the tart is just nice for me to pop the whole piece into my mouth. The skin just melt in my mouth and as I chew, I can taste the pineapple fragrance.

Almond taste is something not on the popular side. Many people is scare of the so call "Cockroach" taste or smell (Ok, I always ask those who told me this, how do you know how a cockroach taste like? You eaten one before? LOL..). 

For me, I love almond taste and I prefer it as strong as possible. 😝

The almond cookies does taste soft and crisp. And I can still bite small pieces of almond. But I notice that the amount varies for each pieces. Some have more and some have less. Therefore, some pieces taste nicer.

I can smell a very nice almond fragrance as I open the container. The almond smell strong but don't taste strong. I personally think that it will taste better if the almond taste is stronger.

Actually, I have not eaten green pea cookies before. So I don't actually know what to expect for this one. 

From the container, it does look attractive on the colors.

Before I eat, I thought I will taste something similar to those green pea nuts. But actually not really the same. The green pea taste is not as strong. Definitely acceptable for those who don't like vegetable taste.

But for me, although it taste good, it also make my teeth a little uncomfortable as it will stuck on my teeth. 🙈

Prawn roll!!! Another CNY goodies that I will definitely buy. 

The prawn smell is very strong the moment I open the container.

It taste really crispy and full of Hae Bee Hiam taste. One thing I like is that the spiciness is at the right level. Not too spicy and not too bland. And the prawn roll skin is not too thick. Also, it is not oily.

Of the 4 goodies above, I like the Hae Bee Hiam prawn roll the most. Oh man, I can't stop eating once I start. I also like the pineapple tarts. The thin skin and pineapple fragrance. Delicious!

I personally think that it is also very affordable. Given the effort to handmade each pieces of the goodies and pack them nicely. The price is definitely reasonable to me.

Recently, I was introduced to Vitabrid products through their 14 days Radiance InsideOUT Set. 

Woohu.......The set came in a big and pretty yellow box. Actually, was quite surprise and excited. Surprise by the very big box and excited to try new products.

There are 5 products inside but I will only focus on Vitabrid C¹² FACE Brightening Powder.

The trial bottle of Vitabrid C¹² FACE Brightening Powder came in a small glass bottle with easy to pour cap.

I just need to fix the cap on the glass bottle and I'm ready to use it.

I have use before products with vitamin C. But they either caused my skin to outbreak or there is no effect at all. And the Vitamin C is always inclusive in the product. I never know Vitamin C for Skin comes in this form and can be used this way. 

The Brightening Powder came in very fine powder form.

And what I like best is that I do not need to change my skin care regiment. This brightening powder can be added to my serum or moisturizer. For me, I mix it into my serum.

I was pretty surprise by the result. In just less then 14days of usage, I can already see the improvement. I can already see that it helps to brighten up my dull skin by a small percentage. 

What I can really see having a huge improvement is the sebum control of my skin. Previously, my skin can get really very oily by the end of the day. But now, it stays at the right level throughout the day. As a result, less days my pimple friends visited me.

I am really please with the result. And maybe I will consider buying the retail size and continue use it.
