How to use them?

Skin Brightening Cleanser

Gently massage cleanser on wet face and rinse off with water. Use daily day and night. 

Cellular Repair Hydrator

After cleansing and toning, apply 2 to 3 on skin. 

Acne Skin Recovery Cream

Apply cream on affected area.

My Review

My skin is always prone to blemish and dehydration which caused skin oiliness and dullness. And if you have seen my past blog post, I mentioned that I have acne skin during my 20s. 

How do I take care of my troubled skin? Well I had the chance of knowing Jill Lowe products during my school days and I am glad that I do as it helps to resolve my acne problem back then.

Until now, I will always turn to Jill Lowe products when my skin is troubled with blemish and other issues.

Recently, I added 3 Jill Lowe products to my skincare routine. Let me share them with you. 

First, Skin brightening cleanser.

This cleanser has a transparent gel like texture. It is easy to lather.

My skin feels cleanse off dirt and oil. There is no tight feel and my skin touches smooth and feels supply after used. 

I added Jill Lowe cellular repair hydrator too.

This hydrator has a transparent liquid texture. It is not oily and not sticky and easy absorbed by my skin. It gave my skin instant refreshing and hydrating feeling. After using for 1 week, my skin feels smooth and less dull.

Lastly, acne skin recovery cream. 

Acne Skin Recovery Cream (15ml)

I like to call this a magic cream. As it helps to magically make my blemish disappear without leaving any scar behind. 

This recovery cream has a lightweight cream texture. It comes with a light smell during application that smells like Chinese herbs. (If you have taken Ya-Hom powder from five pagodas brand, it smell a little alike.)

It is easy to blend into my skin and it gave my skin a cooling feel. It is able to calm my skin redness as well as clear my blemish. And I also realize after using for 1 week that my pores around my nose area actually minimized.

Overall, after adding these 3 products to my skincare routine, my skin feels smoother, less oily, more hydrated and less blemish and pores as well. Truly recommend them to you if you are having the same issue.

My Review

Recently I received my Dole VIP Box from Dole Singapore and The Insiders.

I love to eat fruits, especially when they are ready to eat in dessert form. 

I received the following Dole Fruit Bowls flavors:

• Peach Slices (198g)
  
• Mango Chunks (198g)
• Diced Peaches (113g)
  
• Mixed Fruit (113g)
• Mandarin Oranges (113g)

They are individually packed and sealed. 

I have this thinking that all fruit bowls sold outside are all put into sugar syrup. And I always need to mix it in lots of water or I need to discard the sugar syrup to consume. But not anymore after I tried Dole Fruit Bowls. 

I am very excited to try these Dole fruit bowls. What I love is that they are put in 100% juice. This means that I just need to open and consume. I can drink the juice that comes with the fruits without needing to add extra water.

The 100% juice inside the fruit bowls taste really nice. It taste a little sour due to the lemon concentrate. And the juice contain nice fruit taste of the fruit bowl flavor. It is also not so sweet. 

I can even smell the nice fruit fragrance as I open the seal. 

The fruit inside taste really tasty. They are in good size and texture. It is solid, not mushy. Easy to consume. Can taste that they are really fresh when they are being sealed into the bowl. 

I love to just open and eat them while I am watching my TV.

Apart from that, I love to add them into my own mocktail with Chia seed. The juice in the fruit bowl add on taste to my drinks and the fruits are really nice to eat together with the drink. Very good especially for Singapore hot weather.

I add them to my agar agar dessert too. They taste so delicious. Children and old folks just can't stop eating. They will be great when added to yogurt too.

The flavor I love most is the mango chunks. I just love mango and Dole really mix very delicious mango into their fruit bowl. My family love the peach slices. They are really fragrance. 

Overall, Dole Fruit Bowls are convenient to eat and really delicious. The best part I love most is that it is put in 100% juice which is healthier choice. They are great snacks to consume.

How to consume The Tea Story Dessert Blends

Tea can be serve hot or cold. 

Hot

Place 1 teabag into tea cup, pour hot water and steep for 3 to 5 minutes. 

Cold

Place 1 or 2 teabag into a cup, pour hot water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Then pour the brewed tea into a cup filled with ice.

My Review

Few weeks ago, I received Dessert Blends Assorted Tea from The Tea Story.

This assorted tea taste a little different from the usual tea I drink. 

It came in a box of 3 different flavours each with 5 packs.

Chocolate Fantasy

This Dessert Blend tea is called chocolate fantasy. From the name, I first thought chocolate how to goes into tea without it being creamy?? 

As I open the individually pack tea bag, I smell light chocolate and fruit fragrance. This is the first time I drink tea with chocolate as ingredient inside. 

Since it is Chocolate Fantasy, I made my tea cold. As I steep the tea, I smell nice chocolate from the tea. 

The tea looks like any other ordinary tea color. Nope, it is not dark chocolate in color.

The taste of the tea came as something new and interesting to me. It taste fruity as I sip it into my mouth but I taste a hint of chocolate fragrance as it glide into my throat. 

This tea taste quite delicious to drink for me as chocolate and fruity fragrance goes very well together.

Queen Of Hearts

This Dessert Blend tea is called Queen of Hearts. Nothing I related to from the name. 

Something caught my attention in the ingredient of this tea instead. It contain Chili. 😲 My first reaction was will my tea taste spicy like the chili sauce??

Well the answer is no. This tea smell full of cocoa fragrance. It is like drinking a cup of mild hot chocolate with no cream. You taste tea instead of cream milk.

Sweet Seduction

The name sweet seduction sound to me the tea will taste sweet. But I was wrong again. 😂

This tea smell a mixture of cocoa and mint. Very refreshing. 

The tea taste as refreshing as it smell. No surprises for this flavor. It taste like western tea with a hint of light cocoa and mint. But there is no bitter taste as compare to ordinary western tea.

Overall, this dessert blends assorted tea taste really interesting and lovely. I love the chocolate fantasy among the 3 flavors as I love my tea with a little fruity taste.

My Review

Air is something we breathe into our body 24hours and 365days a year. Therefore breathing in healthy air is very important. Especially during this covid period.

We cannot control the air outside but we can at least control the one at home through investing in a good helper call the air purifier that help us do the job. 

Recently, I have a new helper call the Cosmo Pro Air Purifier + 5-in-1 HEPA filter. My old air purifier spoiled a few years back. So this new air purifier replaces the old one at the right time. 

This Cosmo pro air purifier came pack nicely in a huge blue box. (I thought it was a desktop size air purifier but it came the normal size one. Lol 😅)

The air purifier has a cylinder shape that is white and sliver in color. The design is simple and elegant.

Cosmo Pro Air Purifier

Before I on the air purifier, the plastic that wrap the HEPA Filter in the air purifier needs to be removed.

The HEPA Filter that came with this Pro Air Purifier is 5-in-1. Wow... that's really great to see it cater for so many layers (5 Layers) of different filters before it release fresh air back to us. The filter can last for 1 to 1.5 years. There is filter replace indicator from the air purifier to alert you that the filter needs replacement.

The back cover of the air purifier is easy to remove. The magnet at the side of the cover makes sure that it is tightly closed. But I have to make sure I slot the cover properly. Otherwise the cover cannot close back properly.

The air purifier came with an easy to use display panel and control panel. The display panel will show live reading of the air quality with color indicator. Blue means your air quality is excellent. The flat control panel is easy to understand and press too.

This air purifier came with 3 wind speed. Besides that, they have auto and sleep mode too. Very good to cater for different needs. For lazy people like me, I will just use Auto mode. Let the machine do the job for me. 😆

By default, the Anion (negative ion release) function is on (will leave it on as its good for health) and fan speed is auto. Auto mode really is very quiet. I cannot hear any noise at all. The strong speed and medium speed mode make quite loud noise (but still acceptable) from the fan. Check out my video below.

The part I like best is that it came with UVC function that helps to kill microbes and disinfect. And it is 100% safe as the lamp is covered with a shield inside the purifier.

They do have timer function too where I can set the air purifier to work and then auto off for me after certain hours. It goes up to 12 hours of setting. The most I used is 3hours so far.

I have been using it for quite sometime now. I do notice my room is less dusty. And also I realize my sleep quality improved too. It does helps to keep the air smells good, away from odour. I have experience joystick and paper offering burning smell, wall painting smell and after cooking oil smell filled my living room and kitchen. This air-purifier really does helps to neutralize the odour in the air as well as keep the air fresh.

Not sure if it is because of this air purifier. But ever since I use it in my bed room, I realize my room is less visited by the mosquito. So I get less mosquito bites and less skin itchiness.

There is only 1 improvement needed from my own opinion. This air purifier although not very heavy but still it carries quite a little weight. It is quite difficult to move around the house as there is no handle to hold it. I can only hug the purifier or I hold the gap between the cover and the sliver top.

This is where I hold the air purifier to move it around.

Also if this air purifier is wireless where I do not need to plug the power adapter wire will be even better. 😁

Overall, this air purifier is good to invest in. Given its filter quality, functions and benefits, the price is value for $ too.
