Recently, I went for a scent adventure with my brother at Scentopia. Both of us had a fun afternoon customizing our own orchid infused perfume with our name engraved on the bottle too.

My Review
For person like me, I often tell people that I don't like perfume. But actually, it's not that I don't like perfume. It's because commercial perfume out there is difficult to please my nose. That is why I choose not to like and wear them.
Therefore, customized DIY perfume is a popular and definite choice for people like me.
Recently, I was so excited to drop by Scentopia together with my brother to DIY my own customized orchid infused perfume.
This is not my first time doing DIY perfume but definitely my first for orchid infused perfume. I am still so excited.
The location is easy to locate.The outdoor feel so resort to me, beautifully decorated and relax.

Once I step into Scentopia, my first impression, smells so good and look so colorful.

I was greeted by friendly Scentopia Staff. My first task before I start customizing my perfume is to complete my perfume personality test.

There are 10 questions to answer. The final calculated number will be used as a reference for me to choose my scent.

Second task, I was brought to a whole row with a collection of 200 scent oil. They divide the scent between male section (stronger scent) and female section (lighter and more female scent). I was free to choose from both section. Each section is divided into 5 different Scent (Citrus, Fresh, Floral, Woody and Oriental).

There was really a lot to smell. I was told to choose 10 scents with reference using the final calculated personality test.

This choosing process really took the longest amount of time as compare to other task. I was pretty surprise that I actually like the woody scent from the male section more than the female section. Of all the scent, oriental scent proof to be the scent least of my liking as they are too strong.

My third task is to mix the 10 scents that I chosen for scent test. I was given 2 small cup to mix. Then sample smell my creation. If I don't like my creation, the staff here will help amend my scent, remix and smell again until I am satisfy. For me, I am very satisfied with my first mix.

My Fourth task is to hand my 10 chosen scents to the Scentopia staff and they will mix my perfume into a beautiful Scentopia perfume bottle. The one I have here is 100ml. My bottle is engraved with my name too.

I really had fun during the whole process. I especially like the part where I get to smell and choose the various scent. Although there are a lot to smell, but it really is the most interesting part. I get to know lots of scent through the process. Check out my adventure from my video below.
I love my final product. The smell is from citrus to floral to woody. Very uniquely me. The bottle and bag with my name engraved on it look so pretty too.
Overall, this is a nice place to spend your afternoon with your favourite company for a unique DIY adventure.
