My Review
This was a sample in the goodies bag for one of Sample Store event.

My first time using Senka products and it's another oil based makeup remover. Oil!!! Something I am scared to put on my face. So I must really test it

The sample bottle contain 20ml of this watery oil. Pretty generous for a sample size.
Senka Perfect Watery Oil 20ml sample size.
The watery oil has a transparent oil based texture. But it feels like oil that is mix with some water to me.
Transparent oil based texture.
And I like it that they are so thoughtful to put a stopper on the opening of the sample bottle so that I can better control the amount that I need to use each time more easily and neatly.
Stopper for easy and neat usage.
One thing I like about this makeup remover is that I am able to use it in the bathroom even when my hand is wet. It does not affect the result at all. Now I do not need to clean my wet hand before I use makeup remover. More convenient to me.

I did a test with makeup on my hand

From left to right:

Makeup remove test.
Turns out that I really don't need to rube hard to remove the makeups. I just need to gently massage but it took quite long to cleanly remove them.
Putting the perfect watery oil on the makeup.
Needs to only gently massage but it needs time before it takes effect.
Also wet or dry, it's able to remove the makeup cleanly in just 1 single step, very convenient for busy and lazy people like me. But I do feel that it's still easier when my hands are dry.
Makeup removed after massaging for sometime.
The watery oil is consider gentle and not so thick to me. And it does not leave an oily feeling after used. My skin feels soft and supple. Of course, I use cleansing foam after that to make sure no excess oil is left on my skin
Makeup cleanly removed.
I have been using it for a while now and so far so good. No blemish form because of using this.

Overall this product is able to cleanly remove my makeup in 1 step without leaving any oily feeling after used. I like it that I am able to use it even on my wet hand in the bathroom. Also it does not cause blemish after using on my troublesome combination skin. Its very comfortable to use.

My Review
The exfoliating wash I had is travel size only. Although its only travel size, it is pack properly too in a travel size bottle to ensure its freshness.
Travel Size Exfoliating Facial Wash.
The opening is properly sealed to ensure that it is new and not used before.
Opening is properly sealed.
The facial wash has a light yellow color. It has a gel like sandy texture. This very sandy texture should be the micro bits. Its indeed very tiny because by looking at it, I can't see anything.
Looking into the opening.
Yellow gel-like sandy texture.
The facial wash does not have a nice smell. Also there is no foam to this facial wash. So don't add too much water and expect it to be soapy and foamy.

In fact, I cannot allow my hand or face to be too wet. Otherwise it is very difficult to use. Almost like there is no facial wash on my hand.
None Soapy at all.
But having said that, the facial wash is really very gentle to my skin. I am able to exfoliate my skin everyday with it. After used, my face will always feel cleanse, hydrated and smooth. No more oily or sticky feeling.

But for the pricing of this product, hmm.....I do personally feel that it's too expensive.

Overall, this facial wash is very gentle and is able to cleanse and hydrate my skin. After wash, my face feels smooth without over drying.

Review: Dove Hair Fall Rescue Intensive Hair Tonic

Dove Hair Fall Rescue Damage Solutions (7ml per bottle)
Today review is on Dove Hair Fall Rescue Intensive Hair Tonic.

Overall this hair fall rescue treatment did control my hair from less hair fall, making it more firm and manageable. It is value for money as well. However to a person who take ingredients used very seriously due to sensitive skin or scalp, there maybe some items such as alcohol, perfume and silicone that is sensitive to them.

My Review
Do you get shock yourself when you see lots of hair laying deadly on the floor, comb, toilet and even on your bed
Eww....fallen hair in the bathroom.
Well for me, I have been having hair thinning issue since years ago and have been treating this issue years back. Seeing that Dove is having this hair fall solution, I decided to try it and see if I should be changing my current treatment brand to this instead. The verdict? Well, I will let you know by the end of this post.

To try this product, I specifically stop the current hair thinning treatment product I am using and use this Dove hair fall solution for 2 weeks.

This Dove Hair Fall Rescue Intensive Hair Tonic came in a box of 7 vials, to be used once every 2 days.
Came in a plastic box.
7 vials inside each box.
Each vial came in a plastic white bottle with a flat nozzle at the top of the opening, small and convenient to bring around. I have to break open the flat nozzle in order to use it.
How the vial looked like.
Breaking open the flat nozzle at the top of the opening.
The solution is transparent and has a gel-like texture. Feel sticky to me. It smells like a typical hair treatment smell, not very nice to me.
How the solution looked like.
I was told to use up 1 entire vial for each application. I was shocked!!! Because that was quite a lot to me!!

And I indeed had a hard time finishing up the bottle of solution. The amount is more than enough for my scalp.

Firstly it's because I can't see how much solution is left inside the bottle. I can only repeat the process of pressing the solution from the bottle and apply them on my scalp directly through the nozzle from left to right, top to bottom a little at a time, until I heard a "buzz buzz" sound made from air coming out of the nozzle which means no more solution inside.

Secondly, the solution is quite thick. It stay sticky on my scalp until a good few minutes of massage. I need to spend quite sometime on it.
Cannot see the solution makes it difficult to gauge how much solution is left.
During application, my scalp feels cooling.

After using for 2 weeks, it did control my hair from less hair fall, making it more firm and manageable.

However, I see no improvement in hair growth. Also I realize from some of its ingredients such as alcohol, perfume and silicone maybe disturbing to a person who take ingredients used very seriously due to sensitive skin or scalp.

My verdict? I think I will not change my current hair thinning treatment product to this product.

Will recommend to those who is on budget and those who is not sensitive to ingredients used.

Where to buy it?
Dove Hair Fall Rescue Intensive Hair Tonic can be bought for a retail price of S$19.90 for 7 tubes (7ml per mini bottle).
