How to use them?

Skin Brightening Cleanser

Gently massage cleanser on wet face and rinse off with water. Use daily day and night. 

Cellular Repair Hydrator

After cleansing and toning, apply 2 to 3 on skin. 

Acne Skin Recovery Cream

Apply cream on affected area.

My Review

My skin is always prone to blemish and dehydration which caused skin oiliness and dullness. And if you have seen my past blog post, I mentioned that I have acne skin during my 20s. 

How do I take care of my troubled skin? Well I had the chance of knowing Jill Lowe products during my school days and I am glad that I do as it helps to resolve my acne problem back then.

Until now, I will always turn to Jill Lowe products when my skin is troubled with blemish and other issues.

Recently, I added 3 Jill Lowe products to my skincare routine. Let me share them with you. 

First, Skin brightening cleanser. 

Skin Brightening Cleanser (Sample Size)

This cleanser has a transparent gel like texture. It is easy to lather.

My skin feels cleanse off dirt and oil. There is no tight feel and my skin touches smooth and feels supply after used. 

I added Jill Lowe cellular repair hydrator too. 

Cellular Repair Hydrator (sample size)

This hydrator has a transparent liquid texture. It is not oily and not sticky and easy absorbed by my skin. It gave my skin instant refreshing and hydrating feeling. After using for 1 week, my skin feels smooth and less dull.

Lastly, acne skin recovery cream. 

Acne Skin Recovery Cream (15ml)

I like to call this a magic cream. As it helps to magically make my blemish disappear without leaving any scar behind. 

This recovery cream has a lightweight cream texture. It comes with a light smell during application that smells like Chinese herbs. (If you have taken Ya-Hom powder from five pagodas brand, it smell a little alike.)

It is easy to blend into my skin and it gave my skin a cooling feel. It is able to calm my skin redness as well as clear my blemish. And I also realize after using for 1 week that my pores around my nose area actually minimized.

Overall, after adding these 3 products to my skincare routine, my skin feels smoother, less oily, more hydrated and less blemish and pores as well. Truly recommend them to you if you are having the same issue.

My Review

This Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Form came in a blue white tube.

The word baking powder really interest me. I only know baking powder is for making cake. But baking powder in cleansing foam...hmm...

The cleansing foam has a white cream texture. Put some water to it and it can easily form foam.

Easy to lather.

This cleansing foam can really cleanse off the dirt and excess oil from my skin. Face feels cleanse after use with no tight and dry feeling. However I do feel that it does not fully cleanse off stubborn white or black heads. 

Overall, this baking powder pore cleansing foam works well as a normal cleanser to remove impurities and dead skin cells.

Review: Fancl Facial Washing Powder

This powder is able to cleanse my skin while keeping it hydrated. Lots of foam is form too.

How to use the Facial Washing Powder?

1. Soak the foaming ball with water. Squeeze out access water. 
2. Spread 1 teaspoon of facial washing powder on the ball. 
3. Rub with wet hand until powder dissolved. 
4. Squeeze the ball a few times until foams form. 
5. Use the foams to massage on your face and them wash off with water. 

Note that the foaming ball must not be rubbed on the face. It is use for forming foam only.

My Review

Have you tried Fancl facial washing powder before? 

Yes, Fancl product is well known for its preservative free product. 

Their washing powder came in a nice white bottle.

The powder is white in color and really fine. Looks like washing machine washing powder to me. 😂

And this washing powder is to be use with their foaming ball so that foam can be form easily.

Some may find the steps to use quite long. But it is non other than pour the powder, dissolve in water, use the foam ball to form foam and then wash your face with the foam.

A little powder can form lots of foam. More than enough for my whole face and neck.

After washing, my face feels cleanse and hydrated. 

But the price of the powder is a bit high to me.

Review: LJH Egg Pack Facial Soap

This soap is able to cleanse and hydrate my skin well. It is non greasy and easy to lather. What I like most is that it is able to slow down the build up of blackheads.

How to use LJH Egg Pack Facial Soap
There are 2 ways to use this soap. 

Method 1: (For lazy people like me. 😜)

1. Wet the soap with water. 
2. Lather the soap with your palm until foam produces. 
3. Apply the foam on your face.
4. Wash off and clean dry. 

Method 2: (Using the foam net given)

1. Place the soap into the foam net. 
2. Wet the soap. 
3. Rub the net against the foam net until foam is form. 
4. Take the foam and apply on your face. 
5. Massage and rinse off.

My Review
I have eaten egg in food, heard egg used in DIY mask. But egg in face soap is my first try. 

This is my first try on LJH Egg Pack Facial Soap. It came in my favorite yellow with white color cardboard box.

This facial soap pack came with an olden type of soap bar with a foam net.

The soap is quite big as compare to normal soap bar. It is yellow in color and came wrap with plastic wrapper.

The soap gave off some kind of very fragrance perfume smell when I first unwrap the wrapper. But soon the fragrance smell is gone.

Using my hand and some water, the soap is easy to lather. It is non greasy. After lather with foam, the soap just smell like any other ordinary soap. Just smell of a soap.

When I use the foam net, foam form is smooth and thicker than using hand alone.

Foam is smooth and thick using foam net.

But whether using hand or foam net, it provide same type of result. It does not give my skin any tight feeling. My skin feels smooth and hydrated. Oil and dirt removed.

Using it for about around 1 week later, I realise it also reduce my blackheads around my nose area. 

This soap is quite good to me. The price is not really expensive too.

Wanted to try out powder cleanser? Then come checkout Japan No 1 Enzyme Face Powder wash, Kanebo Suisai Beauty Clear Powder. 

This face powder is surprisingly good in my opinion after trying them out. It leave my skin feeling really refreshing and smooth after wash. I also observed that it helps in removing my dead skin cell and white / black heads too.

I have heard of powder face wash but have yet to try out. 

Thanks for the sample giveaway, I am able to try out powder face wash for the first time. 

My first impression of the packaging, so cute!!!! It's place in a small capsule.

I was told that 1 capsule can be used twice, but I manage to used it for 3 times. So do not open up the lid all the way, because you can cover it back for the leftover.

The face powder wash really look like those powder detergent that my mum used to wash clothes. ;P And I thought it will consist of heavy soap smell but I can really smell nothing from the powder. 👍👍👍

But one thing, when pouring the powder onto my palm, I can accidentally pour too much amount as sometimes when I pour, all just came out together. Can be a little difficult sometimes. 

Ok, after playing around with the powder, it really gave me a big❓. Will it really lather foam out of the powder? Or I will end up washing the powder down the basin with nothing left for me to use?

Well, I worry for nothing. Coz it is super easy to lather. I like !!! 😍

And after washing, it feels really refreshing and smooth. I also observed that it helps in removing my dead skin cell and white / black heads too. It is not over drying too. Skin feels supple. 

It leave a really great impression to me. Nothing negative for me to pick. Just that price wise is rather expensive.

Overall, this 3-steps kit works to remove my whiteheads, leaving my nose clean and smooth after use. However, more stubborn blackheads may need more application to be remove and each application is more time consuming then usual.

How to use Holika Holika Pig-Nose Clear Black Head 3-Step Kit?
3 Steps:

1. After cleansing, Apply step 1 to nose area and allow to sit for 15 - 20 mins to open up pores. 
2. Dampen nose area with a bit of water and apply step 2 and let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes before removing. (Remove starting from side to middle.) 
3. Apply step 3 to cleanse nose area. Leave on for 5 - 10 mins to minimize pores. Pat skin for better absorption. 

My Review
Blackheads is 1 issue that is forever troubling me. Especially nose area. It still look ok from far but when closed up, it looks awful. And even embarrassing when u realise that people is actually paying attention to your blackheads. 

I came across this very affordable blackhead removal sheet when browsing online store. The Pig nose and 3 steps makes me curious. Why pig nose? Because Pig nose have no black heads. 😁 This must be the first time you want your nose to be like pig's nose. 😝

Holika Holika Pig-Nose Clear Black Head 3-Step Kit.

I have tried 1 step removal but never 3 steps. This curiosity is enough for me to put this product in the shopping cart. 

First step is to put a serum sheet around the nose area to melt off sebum. There are lots of serum in the pack. Serum is watery and not sticky. But I do feel a little itchy during application.

Next came the usual sticky pad. It came pasted on a plastic transparent sheet.

It does fit to my nose very well. And the sticky pad became harden by the time it is ready to be removed.

There are indeed quite a number of whiteheads being pulled out. Nose area became smooth to touch.

I really like it when mask sheet is given to help tightened the pores. I do not need to separately prepare the mask sheet. Save my time. 😀

The mask sheet is place between a white plastic sheet and a net. The serum on the mask sheet is thick and sticky.

It feels really cooling during application and it is very slippery too as it kept on dropping.

This mask does really work to an extend. It feels clean and smooth after used. But very stubborn blackheads needs more application I think. As just 1 application cannot remove them. 

Also 3 steps means more time is needed to use them. It actually needs the time of mask application X 3. So you may want to apply it when you are not so busy. 😜😝

Overall, I am satisfy with this 3-step kit.
