Let me introduce to you Poon Confectionary Homemade CNY Goodies. Yes they are freshly handmade with nutritious ingredients. No MSG, preservatives or added flavour. Great, at least I know I am eating safe and not eating chemical into my stomach.

I have 4 of their CNY goodies with me. And I can't wait till CNY to eat them. They became my tea break snacks. 来来来 (Come X3 in Chinese)....let me tell you if they are delicious.

For me, pineapple tarts is 1 CNY goodies I will definitely buy every year. I am a fussy pineapple tart eater. There are very little brands that can please me, not even those famous once. 

I must say, Poon Confectionary did a great job on their pineapple tarts.

The pineapple tarts comes with thin skin with lots of fillings. Skin does not have too strong butter taste (definitely acceptable for those who are scared of butter taste). The pineapple fillings are not so sweet and not too sour.

Size of the tart is just nice for me to pop the whole piece into my mouth. The skin just melt in my mouth and as I chew, I can taste the pineapple fragrance.

Almond taste is something not on the popular side. Many people is scare of the so call "Cockroach" taste or smell (Ok, I always ask those who told me this, how do you know how a cockroach taste like? You eaten one before? LOL..). 

For me, I love almond taste and I prefer it as strong as possible. 😝

The almond cookies does taste soft and crisp. And I can still bite small pieces of almond. But I notice that the amount varies for each pieces. Some have more and some have less. Therefore, some pieces taste nicer.

I can smell a very nice almond fragrance as I open the container. The almond smell strong but don't taste strong. I personally think that it will taste better if the almond taste is stronger.

Actually, I have not eaten green pea cookies before. So I don't actually know what to expect for this one. 

From the container, it does look attractive on the colors. 

Very nice color.

Before I eat, I thought I will taste something similar to those green pea nuts. But actually not really the same. The green pea taste is not as strong. Definitely acceptable for those who don't like vegetable taste.

But for me, although it taste good, it also make my teeth a little uncomfortable as it will stuck on my teeth. 🙈 

Hae Bee Hiam Sambal Prawn Roll

Prawn roll!!! Another CNY goodies that I will definitely buy. 

The prawn smell is very strong the moment I open the container. 

Crispy and Tasty Prawn Roll.

It taste really crispy and full of Hae Bee Hiam taste. One thing I like is that the spiciness is at the right level. Not too spicy and not too bland. And the prawn roll skin is not too thick. Also, it is not oily.

Of the 4 goodies above, I like the Hae Bee Hiam prawn roll the most. Oh man, I can't stop eating once I start. I also like the pineapple tarts. The thin skin and pineapple fragrance. Delicious!

I personally think that it is also very affordable. Given the effort to handmade each pieces of the goodies and pack them nicely. The price is definitely reasonable to me.
