My Review
Yum Yum Yum!!! Who can resist Japanese food? Especially Sushi.
Last Saturday afternoon, I received a bag with 4 types of sushi and 1 appetizer from Sushi Delivery Singapore. Delivery details are written nicely too on the bag.

Tamago Maki (1 Roll)
Simple sushi rice roll with tamago (Egg).
Tamago Maki (1 Roll) |
In Between my bites, I can taste the light tamago sweetness. Not too sweet thanks to the sushi rice's fragrance.
The size of the Maki makes it a perfect snack for tea break or even when you are watching your movies and drama series.
Salmon Maki (1 Roll)
Simple sushi rice roll with salmon.

However for sashimi lovers, they may find it no kick as before they are able to taste the salmon, its already inside their stomach. (Never mind, sashimi lovers can always order their sashimi set 😁) But those who are afraid to eat sashimi can give this a try though. I try it on my mom and she is able to accept it. :) Good starter for sashimi beginner.
Mango Maki (8 Pieces)
Sushi Roll with cucumber and Unagi inside, wrapped with Mango on top that is dressed with mayonnaise and tobiko (fish roe).
Mango Maki (8 Pieces) |
The maki contain mango fragrance taste that is not too overwhelming. In between bites, I am able to burst the fish roe. And also the crunchy cucumber makes the mango maki refreshing.
Cucumber and unagi inside the mango maki. |
But overall, all the ingredients blend well with each other. The aftertaste of the mango makes me want to pop more mango maki into my mouth.
Taiyou Century Egg Maki (8 Pieces)
Sushi roll with cucumber, tamago and Crab meat on the inside, drizzled with sauces made from century egg yolk, topped with chopped century egg, tobiko roes and spring onions.

Well, to me, after tasting it, I find them surprisingly delicious. The sauce made with century egg yolk is well done and well balanced without any mud aftertaste. It is not too heavy. It is really hard to describe how the sauce taste like but to me, it is a very special and new sauce.

Cannot lay my hands off the sushi. |
Which one do I like best from the above? Well, I thought I will like the mango maki best given how much I love mango. But surprisingly, the Taiyou Century Egg Maki left such a special and delicious taste to me that I cannot stop thinking about it. So for the first time, century egg wins mango here. 😅
For those who love to try fusion maki, I think mango maki and taiyou century egg maki will be what you are looking for. Not to worry too for those who love traditional maki as they do have simple single ingredient bite size maki for you.
