Today review is on Hada Labo Cleansing Oil With High Purity Olive Oil.

This cleansing oil is able to cleanly remove makeup without leaving any oily feeling after wash. Its able to remove even waterproof makeup with some massage. But with combination skin, I'm really still not comfortable to use oil base makeup remover for long term.

How to use Hada Labo Cleansing Oil With High Purity Olive Oil?

1. Keep Face and hand dry.
2. Pour cleansing oil onto palm and gently massage onto face and eye area. 
3. Wet face to emulsify cleansing oil. 
4. Rinse thoroughly with water. 

My Review
Never really did redeem this cleansing oil sample. I remember it came together with the Hada Labo Hydrating lotion samples. 

The sample came in 3ml sachet. Just enough for 2 usage to me.

The cleansing oil is colourless, with no fragrance smell. 

Colorless.

It is oil based. So I really have concern using them on my skin. But after trying, I felt that it doesn't feel like other oil base makeup remover, leaving a greasy feeling on the skin. In fact, after washing off, it does not feel oily at all. 

It also leave a smooth feeling after wash. But I do need to follow up with using my cleanser to completely remove the after feel of using makeup remover. Those refreshing feeling.

How about those makeup, is it really removed? 

Well, it did really effectively remove not only light makeup but also those waterproof and heavy makeup too. 

Lets us see a test with those makeup on my hand.

Put some Cleansing oil and massage to half of the makeup and wash off.

The part where its being cleanse with the remover is all very cleanly remove.

But for waterproof makeup, need to massage a little longer to completely remove.

Overall, this cleansing oil is able to cleanly remove makeup without leaving any oily feeling after wash. Its able to remove even waterproof makeup with some massage. But with combination skin, I'm really still not comfortable to use oil base makeup remover for long term with fear of blemish development.

Event: Nail Art Workshop: Depend Cosmetic by Meclub

Its been long since I attend any events or workshops. hehe.... pretty lazy to attend. Mediacorp's Meclub had a Nail Art Workshop for redemption last month. Well, kind of fun by looking at the itinerary list for the workshop. So I decided to redeem a pair of tickets to the workshop.

The Nail Art Workshop: Depend Cosmetic courtesy of Mediacorp's Meclub as well as Depend Cosmetic was held at Watsons HQ Fuji Towers on 24 April 2015. 

Its a pair of tickets to the workshop. So I dated my other blogger friend Rena to the workshop. 

Went with my best buddy Rena.

The moment we step into the room where the workshop was held, we do what we like best, eat!!! As its still early, we feast on the Twelve Cupcakes prepared for us.

The workshop is totally hands-on. No powerpoint slides and talking non stop. Its just simple instructions, step by step and then hands-on. At the end of the day, all of us will go home with nicely painted nails by our-selves using Depend Cosmetic's GelLack that will last up to 3 weeks. (well, 3 weeks is what they say. We shall see.) 

No need to go nail salon anymore. We can do our own pro nails just at home. :)

Ok, lets begin!

Our table is lay with Depend Cosmetic's GelLack products.

We first learn basic manicure and pedicure technique. Select the right nail shape (Square, round and oval) and color according to our hands. But for me, well, I just choose whatever shape I feel comfortable to me.

Next we learn how to shape our nails and cuticles. We learn that we don't remove the cuticles as they are there to protect our nail matrix. We just gently push them in so that the nail polish can be painted nicely in shape.

After shaping and filing our nails. We are all ready to start our nail painting.

Before we can even paint the nails with colors, we do the cleansing first.

Use the Before/After Cleanser.

Using a stronger cotton pat.

My nails after all the cleansing work. All ready to start painting.

Next we start with the Base coat. We first paint the 4 fingers of one hand, bake in the Depend GelLack LED Lamp for 30 seconds. Then Do the same to the 4 fingers of the other hand and lastly we do it for our 2 thumbs.

After the base coat, we are all ready to start with our first coating of colors. 

I have chosen blink blink gold color.

Goldie gold for the nail color. Gold night glitters for the top nail portion.

I don't really paint nails often. So what is good about this nail polish is that it does not dry up so easily. After I paint it on the nail, I can clean those parts that I accidentally paint out of nails. I can also slowly touch up to even out the color. 

As long as I did not bake the nail under the LED lamp, everything can be adjust until I like without the fear its going to dry up. Its only going to be permanent (as long as we don't use nail remover) until I finish baking it in the LED Lamp. Very good for beginners really. 

Ok Back to my nails. I repeated the steps of paint, adjust, bake for 3 coating of the gold color nail I choose.

After I am happy with the nail colors, we go on to nail art painting. 

But we don't really have time left for nail art. So I only did paint some gold night glitters on my top nail portion to give it a special finish.

Then its off to finishing it with the top coat.

After which, we will need to wait for 30 seconds for everything to settle down before we clean our sticky nails with the After cleanser.

After cleansing to remove the stickiness, we apply the nail oil and cream.

And Ta Da!!!! Very nicely finished nails that look really pro isn't it. I can't believe its done by me. So pretty!

We can start a nail salon at home already. Strictly by appointment please...lol

And Rena and I can't help starring at our own beautiful nails all the way in the MRT until we reach home. 

And the nails color last really long. Its still as shine and pretty. Just some peeling off at the cuticles areas after 2 weeks of my rough action.

Today review is on Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash. 

This cleanser is able to cleanse, moisturize and smooth the skin and it produces nice fragrance smell too. As for whitening, didn't really see the effect to it.

How to use Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash?
Moisten face and massage all over, avoiding delicate eye area. Wash off and pat dry. 

Use morning and evening.

My Review
The face wash came in a usual cleanser 100ml tube, with the content visible from the bottom of the tube.

The face wash tube also has an easy to open cap.

The cleanser has a light orange color. It has a cream texture with a light fragrance smell.

This face wash I must say is pretty affordable. So if you are looking for something that produces a decent result and not too expensive. Then you may consider this face wash. 

The face wash is soap free, but it is really easy to lather to produce foam.

Well I have given this to a few people to try. All came back with some similar positive feedback. 

The face wash smell good but not over power. After wash, skin feels really cleanse and its make skin feels moisturize and smooth without drying the skin. 

But there are also things that it claim it does but it really don't. 

Well, it does not really restore skin natural fairness. Also it does nothing to help on spots and blemish. 

I do personally feel that it's also not so suitable for people with really very oily skin. Because the oil control is not there so cleanse does not really last long to make skin feels good. 

Overall, this is an affordable product that is able to cleanse, moisturize and smooth the skin.

Given it to my brother to use. Overall, its able to help keep his skin moisturizing and it does also help to control the oil level of his face too. Well, it prove the product is not only suitable for teenager but beyond too.

My Review
This was given during the SampleStore Easter Event this year.

The product came with a nice blue package.

Opening it up, its a white 100ml tube with lots of wordings on it. Very messy to me.

And for hygiene, the product is nicely seal up. Good for us to know its never been opened to used before.

The moisturizer is white in color and have a cream texture. there is also no smell to it. :)

The cream itself is not at all sticky or oily. 

I have given it to my brother to use since its for boy. Well, really hard for me to convince someone with no habit of using moisturizer to use it daily. But he still do it for me. :D (kiss kiss him)

Ok here is his feedback after using. The moisturizer after use, it won't immediately feel smooths on the skin. It absorb fast but the smooth touch came only after a few minutes later. 

For the first few weeks, he did not really see any effect on his skin. Everything feels normal. 3 weeks into using the moisturizer, he realize that his skin feels smooth and also less oily when he wakes up in the morning.

Overall, its able to help keep his skin moisturizing and it does also help to control the oil level of his face too. Well, it prove the product is not only suitable for teenager but beyond too.
