Review: Royal Eternity Tea House - Tea Tasting Session

Tea Appreciation has become more and more popular lately. It helps us to really relax our mind and body from our stressful life. At the same time, tea plays an important part to nurse one's health. 

Tea house has become a place not only for tea appreciation. The ambient of the tea house plays an important factor. It has become a place where people holds events in. 

Last Saturday, I was privileged to be invited to Royal Eternity Tea House with my family and blog buddy for a tea tasting session. 

Come....let me walk through my experience with you. 

The Tea House

Royal Eternity Tea House is located among the shop houses conveniently between Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. You can hardly not turn your head to look at the shop if you walk pass them as it looks classy and luxurious from the outside. 

I was greeted by their friendly and pretty tea specialist, Xiao Yu. Here, she showed me around the different rooms available in this tea house.

After touring the tea house, I feel like I am in a spa center in a resort. The tea house is elegant and relaxing with a mixture of modern and Chinese decoration.

There are 2 levels and 5 type of rooms in total in this tea house. 2 at the first level and 3 at the 2nd level. All unique and beautifully decorated with useful facilities such as TV, projector, Wifi, tables, chairs, sound system and etc.

Their rooms are popularly booked for Solemnization. Also no worries if you need to book the room for private party or company events or meeting. The tea house have license to sell wine and alcohol. So those friends who do not drink tea, wine is available so that all can relax and chat to your heart content together.

After touring the tea house, it's time for us to relax and appreciate a cup of Chinese tea.

I love drinking Chinese tea. The expert is here in front of me, giving me a great opportunity to ask and learn more on Chinese Tea and also the tools and different tea pot used for different Chinese tea.

We are being served with red tea call Lapsang Sou Chang (正山小种) at the Royal Meeting Room at Level 1. This tea has a very light fragrance smell. It taste light too. Also it helps to calm our gastric and reduce heatiness in our body. (暖胃,
降火)

Through the tea making process, we learn the right way of preparing the red tea with the right temperature, amount of water and etc. In short, we learn the art of tea making!

They do sell tea leaves too. Lapsang Sou Chang (正山小种) is selling at S$168 for a box.
