Durians anyone?
Last week, my family and I had a durian feast thanks to Durian SG Prime.
It is great to know that their durians came fresh from the mountains at an affordable price that are 20-30% cheaper than other reputable durian sellers.
Durians are delivered on time in a vacuum sealed box that are easy to peel off.

The durian smell heavenly. Strong and fragrance to people who love durian. But if you don't, please hide yourself in the room while we enjoy our durians. 😂
I have with me durians from 3 different mountains. And I am pretty surprised that their texture and taste are unique from each other.

The texture of this old tree MSW from Cold White Leaf mountain is very soft and creamy.
The durian meat looks yellowish with slightly more wrinkle than the Indigo Hill Old Tree MSW.

Taste wise is very subjective. For me I find it bitter sweet and creamy. It is more bitter than sweet. And I love it that way.
I also notice the durian meat is more fibrous.

Indigo Hill Mountain Old Tree MSW Durian

The MSW from Indigo Hill has slightly less strong fragrance smell as compare to the Cold White Leaf mountain MSW.
The texture of the meat is firm and smooth.

It has lesser wrinkle as compare to the Cold White Leaf mountain MSW. Durian skin looks more yellowish as compare too.
As for the taste, it is sweet bitter. More sweet than bitter and not fibrous as compare to the Cold White Leaf mountain MSW.
In fact, among the 3 type of durians I have, this one is the sweetest among all 3.

Famous Tiger Mountain Black Gold Durian

This is the first time I tried Black Gold Durian. And I am pretty excited to try it as I heard from other durian lovers that it is a more premium durian as compare to the other type of durian.
Not sure if my eye sees it right, the meat of this Black Gold durian indeed looks black gold. I can actually see light black among the solid yellowish durian meat.

The durian meat is very smooth and firm (firmest among the 3).
I must also highlight that, I realize all 3 durian have different fragrance smell. This Black Gold durian have a very nice fragrance smell unique from the other 2 types.
As for the taste, it taste very bitter as compare to the other 2 types. But it's bitter is so fragrance and succulent. I think I taste a hint of coffee and cocoa fragrance. Very unique and I am in love with it in just one bite.

All 3 type of durians have very thick flesh and small seed. They have different texture, smell and taste. But all 3 types of durians are fresh and quality durians.

My family and I love the Black Gold durian the most. It taste less sweet and very fragrance.
What happen to leftover durians? They are still so fresh. I remove the seed and wrap them in egg wrap to make it into durian crepe. Its so delicious.
