My Review
An action camera can come in really handy for capturing sports, travel as we as our everyday adventure. But if you’re a first-time action camera user, an affordable action camera is a great way to get started and have fun.
Recently, I was introduced to LUMOS DOMINATE Action Camera.

Easy to Navigate
This action camera is lightweight, simple and easy to use.

One improvement I would like to see is a more distinct design for the shooting/OK button. Having a different shape, color or texture would make it easier to identify, as I occasionally found myself pressing the wrong button by mistake.
5K Ultra HD and 4K 60FPS
The camera can record in up to 5K resolution.
It can also record 4K at 60FPS for capturing fast-paced, action-packed moments.
The footage comes out clear, sharp and detailed, making it great for capturing both everyday moments and more exciting adventures.
The video footage is clear and sharp overall, but I noticed that the edges of the frame can look a little noisier than the center. If this could be improved, the overall video quality would look even cleaner and more consistent.
Built-In EIS Stabilization
Stabilization is one of the most important features when shooting video. Therefore, the build-in EIS feature helps keep the footage smooth and steady, even when you are moving around or capturing action.
I feel the built-in stabilization could be improved further. It would be great if the camera could apply stronger stabilization when processing the footage, even if that means slightly cropping the image and giving us a narrower field of view. For me, smoother and more stable footage would be worth the small trade-off in viewing angle, especially when shooting during movement or action.

Another useful feature is the dual screens.

Being able to switch between the front and rear screens makes shooting much easier, especially when switching between different types of shots.

170° Wide Angle and 5X Digital Zoom
This camera allows me to capture a wider view with it's 170° wide angle lens.

I also have the flexibility to do a maximum 5X zoom from wide scenes.
Multiple Shooting Modes
Besides standard video recording, the action camera also offers a variety of shooting modes including slow motion, loop recording and time-lapse.
These additional modes make the camera more fun and enjoyable to use, giving you more creative ways to capture your moments.

Waterproof Case
This is one of the most interesting and exciting features for me. The action camera comes with a waterproof case, which opens up a whole new way of shooting.

This is actually my first time dunking the action camera underwater, so I was pretty nervous and skeptical at first. But once I took the plunge, it turned out to be an exciting and fun experience.

I was able to capture shots underwater that I had never tried before (such as shooting slow-motion underwater), making the shooting experience much more interesting and versatile.
The waterproof case is also easy to install and feels sturdy and well-built, giving me more confidence when shooting underwater.
Long battery Life with USB C Charging
The camera comes with great battery life. A fully charged battery can easily last me half a day of shooting.
If you bought the travel bundle, you would have 3 batteries in total. That is more than enough for my daily shooting.

A completely drained battery took me around 2 and a half hours to fully recharged.
Charging is also really convenient as the camera uses USB C, so I only need the same cable from my phone.

The camera allows wifi transfer. This makes file sharing to phone much faster and easy.
