Pillow is an essential item that everybody needs. And the quality of the pillow contributes to some percentage of your sleep quality. This in turn affect your daily activities and health. Thanks to Best In Singapore, last week, I tried the Superior Coolmax Latex Pillow by Origin.

This Latex Pillow from Origin is really very comfortable. It sink nicely to the shape of my head and neck. Not too soft and not too hard. Feels firm and bouncy and absolutely no sweat around my neck the next day I wake up.

My Review
Let's talk pillow today. 😁 Pillow is important to everybody. For me, without pillow, I cannot sleep properly. 

Last week, I got the chance to try Origin Superior Coolmax Latex Pillow. My pillow now is just ordinary contour shape foam pillow. This is my first time trying on a latex pillow. Having hear of many benefits of latex pillow, I am really excited to lay my head on it. 

The pillow came in a nicely packed blue box with handle.

My first impression of the pillow, it looks ordinary and quite heavy to me actually. 

As for the size of the pillow. Check out the image below. I have measure it using measuring tape in case u wish to know.

It is really great that quality pillow cover came with the pillow. I don't have to find a pillow cover separately. The pillow cover looks classy and touches soft, smooth and comfortable.

This is the first time I see how latex pillow looks like. Rows and rows of holes that make the pillow look like polka dots.

And it is good to know that it is sealed in a thin cover.

The pillow is firm and bouncy. 

Feels really comfortable once I lay my head on it. It sink nicely to the shape of my head and neck. Not too soft and not too hard.

Unlike my current contour shape foam pillow which I need a few days to get use to sleeping on it because of the contour shape, this Origin latex pillow needs no time to get use to. 

After sleeping it for 1 week, my sleep quality improved. I found that I can get to sleep faster and often it allows me to have a deeper sleep without having any dreams in between, waking up undisturbed the next day feeling refresh. (Not sure if you agree with me, having dreams, often I wake up feeling so tired.) 

The pillow with the pillow cover fits nicely to my own pillow case.

Also no sweat over my neck when I wake up the next day. Very good for Singapore's hot weather. 

I tried using my special vacuum that is used for vacuuming dust on this pillow. And so far, no dust is being vacuum out of the pillow after 1 week of use. Good for those allergic to dust.

I really cannot find any fault for this pillow except that it feels heavier than other ordinary pillow. Also personally it is quite an expensive pillow to me if you do not have the budget. 

But 1 good pillow that last long is always a better investment to me rather than always changing pillow that cost cheap but gave you health issue.

Most of you would find The Odbo brand familiar if you have went on a tour to South Korea. Because the tour agency would definitely have bring you to buy their products. I have bought The Odbo Aqua Soothing Silky Essence for my mum to use during a tour few years ago.

To backdate, my mum who used it loved that it makes her skin really hydrated and smooth. Two things she like most is that the essence is not sticky and also very convenient. It improved her skin too.

My Review
This The Odbo silky essence was bought during one of my trip to Korea few years back. The review have been sitting in my PC for a long time. As my mum really praises a lot on this product. I find that I must write about it to share with everybody. 

The Odbo should be a familiar brand for those who have traveled to Korea. Because the tour guide will definitely bring you to listen and buy this brand's products. 

I must say their products are not cheap at all. But since I travel so far and they did a great job during the demo to convince me, I bought their Aqua Soothing Silky Essence for my mum to use. 

The main reason my mum approved me to buy for her is because it is an all-in-one product. That is, it is a toner, an essence and a moisturizer at the same time. So lazy mum feels so happy because all she need is just this one bottle and she is ready to go. 

The essence came in a very classy bottle. Looks to me like an expensive product just by looking at the bottle.

It is quite easy to use it too. Just pump an appropriate amount and apply on your skin.

The essence comes in a white gel like texture. And it is not sticky at all.

The gel like texture will turn into water droplets after you massage and tap the essence on your skin. Your skin will then absorb the essence easily.

My mum told me that her skin feels cooling, smooth and hydrated after application. 

And during the period where she use this product, her friends have been asking her what product she is using as they see her skin smoother and brighten. 

Together with the convenient of all-in-one benefit, she really loved this product a lot. 

So I think those who loved using just one bottle for everything, you should try this product. And if you have the chance to go Korea with tour, remember to get this as they are really cheaper there.

Anti Aging starts from young. Few months ago, I tried DrGL Moisturiser Anti-Aging. 

This moisturiser is non sticky and has a gel like texture. But it does not suit my combination acne prone skin.

My Review
Anti aging does not begin only when it start appearing on the skin. It should begin from young before it start appearing. 

Few months ago, I tried DrGL Moisturiser Anti-Aging (Face/Body). 

This moisturiser is packed in a nice green bottle. Just like any other DrGL products.

The moisturiser can be easily pump out by pressing the "button" on the bottle.

The moisturiser has a gel like texture that is not sticky. Feels a little oily to me.

How the moisturiser look like.

After apply for sometime, I realise my t-zone area started to have blemish. But I continue to apply as I didnt realise it is caused by this moisturiser. Until one day I totally stop. Then the blemish started to slowly go away. 

I have since given this product to my mum. I think her skin condition suits this product more. 

All in all, I have learnt that not all anti aging product is suitable for all skin type even for brand that I have trusted. I must learn to check if it's too greasy for my combination acne prone skin at all times.

Personally, I think that if you have dryer skin condition, then u may give this product a try.

My Review
Last month, I was privilege to receive the new Dove Detox Nourishment Shampoo and Conditioner to try out. Thanks to Daily Vanity and Dove. 

The shampoo and conditioner came in a nice white and pink bottle. Fits the detox nourishment range where it contains pink salt.

Not only the bottle and ingredient is pink. The shampoo is pink in color as well and has a gel like texture. It is lightweight and has a light perfume like scent.

The conditioner on the other hand has a white creamy texture. However, it is not greasy at all. At least it does not leave my bath room floor greasy after using.

My hair is really long and troublesome. My scalp is oily but my mid-hair to hair end is always dry and tangled. Very difficult to manage. Most shampoo I use is only able to keep my scalp clean and non greasy but unable to solve my dry and tangled hair end.

So I am really impressed that this Dove Detox Nourishment Shampoo and Conditioner is able to improve my dry hair end while keeping my scalp clean and non greasy at the same time after only my first wash.

I am really glad that now I am able to keep my oily scalp clean without drying my hair end.

This is the first time I heard of Us On Earth. This essence makes my skin feels really moisturizing.

My Review
Last month, I added something new to my regular skincare regiment. It's the 6 Effector Soft Marine Water Essence from Us On Earth.This is the first time I heard of Us On Earth. 

My first impression is that the packaging and bottle look very environmental friendly and simple to me.

The essence has a watery texture that is non greasy, transparent and no smell.

It is easy to apply and absorbed by my skin.

I have been using it for sometime now. It does make my skin really moisturizing and ready for other skin care application just after used. 

But I can't be sure about its whitening, wrinkle and repair benefit as I do not see any different in these area even after using it for weeks. 

This is a not too bad try product for me. If you are looking to moisturize your skin, you can give this a try.
