My Review
Durian peak season may be over but that doesn't stop us from eating quality and fresh durian cakes and pastries.
Last week, my family and I tried delicious, quality and fresh MSW Durian Mille Crepe Cake and Pastries Taster Bundle from The Durian Bakery.
Order came well pack, freeze and delivered on time within the delivery time slot.

There are totally 4 items delivered. There are 1 cake and 1 taster bundle consisting of 1 pack of D24 durian mochi (6 pieces), 1 box of D24 durian puff (12 pieces) and 1 Dark Chocolate Mousse.

Cake came with knife, candles and Happy Birthday tag. They are also very thoughtful to provide a card, stating instructions for storage and shelf life of the cake and pastries.

I love to eat mochi. Durian flavour mochi is just a great pair.
The durian mochi came in a tray of 6, sealed.

Durian smell is actually very very light for all the cake and pastries, which is good to me. No issue of cracking head to get ride of the smell.

I just pop the whole mouth size mochi into my mouth. The rich creamy durian filling just melt in my mouth. It is not too sweet and contain very rich durian taste.

This durian puff gave me a wow after eating them. My family love them so much.
It came in a box of 12 pieces.

One bite, the full durian puree burst out into my mouth. It filled my mouth with full of durian scent together with the crispy skin. It is not so sweet as well. I don't feel tired of them at all. 1 piece is just not enough. 😍

This dark chocolate durian mousse came in a very nice round dome shape.The surface filled with 24k gold dust. Looks really pretty. Bottom is made with nice crunchy crepes.

However, I am not a dark chocolate lover. The whole mousse contain a very strong bitter dark chocolate taste.
There is also very light durian taste that is actually being covered by the dark chocolate. So I can really hardly taste the durian. Also I find it too sweet.
This is not my cup of tea. But for those who love dark chocolate, you will definitely love this.

This is by far the most delicious durian mile crepe cake I have ever eaten.
It came beautifully layered. I must say, the amount of the durian puree spread between each layer is just nice.

The whole mile crepe cake is very soft with very rich durian taste. The crepe skin is really very thin and fragrant. Very smooth and nice texture.

It just melt in my mouth. Very delicious. We just cannot stop eating. It's also not so sweet too.
Of all the 4 items, my family love the durian puff and mile crepe cake the most.
Overall, the cake and pastries from The Durian Bakery are not so sweet. It contain full of durian taste. It just feel like I am eating real fresh durian. Very delicious.
