My Review

A good immune system keeps us in good condition in health and also in our everyday activities. 

Recently I received a pack of Ensoom Premium Immune Formula thanks to 0.8L.

1 box consist of 10 packs of ensoom and each pack is 10g. Yes, it comes with individual pack which is easy to be placed into our bag and bring around with us.

For me I just open the pack and drink it straight from the pack. 

Just open and drink.

It looks dark chocolate or black in color with a liquid texture. If you have seen Chinese sensei, then you will be familiar with the taste and smell of this product. It smell and taste like Chinese liquid medicine.😦😵 It taste sweet at first (from honey and royal jelly) then turn a little bitter towards the end. The bitter comes from the red ginseng in the product.

So far, it keeps me less fatigue which helps me concentrate more during my work. Not sure about antioxidant and immunity thought. Maybe will need longer consumption to see other results.

Need any beer but for some reason you can't have alcohol drink at that moment? Then have you heard of non-alcohol beer?

I have just tried this non-alcohol 0.0 beer from Heineken and it really quite interesting to me. Check out what I have to say below.

This is a non-alcohol beer from Heineken. 

Country of Origin: Netherlands

It is twice brewed and fermented with Heineken unique A-yeast from natural ingredients with gentle alcohol removal. 

What is stated on the can of beer.

Not Suitable:

• This is not halal so not for our muslim friends. 
• Not for those with health problem that cannot drink beer. 
• Not for those under age.

My Review

You have seen and drink normal beer and less alcohol beer. But have you notice that lately, there is such thing as non-alcohol beer on the shelf in the supermarket? 

Yes. You hear me right. Non-alcohol beer. that is 0% alcohol beer. 

Well my first reaction when I saw it was "how to non-alcohol for beer?" So I am actually quite curious about this Heineken 0.0 Beer. 

The can of 0.0 beer from Heineken just look like any other of their normal beer.

Pouring out the 0.0 beer, wow me a little as it just look close like normal beer with alcohol. Just that it has less foam and less bubble as compare to normal beer.

How about the taste? 

Well, I am not a frequent beer drinker and the last time I tried a normal Heineken beer is really way years ago. So from my taste buds, it was OMG! 

I thought it will taste like another can of Jolly Shandy but nope. It taste really 70% like the normal beer I drink. Less bitter but still it just taste like normal beer to me. Don't really taste the fruity as stated in their website. 

To me, this will be great for those who wants to drink beer but need to drive later. (Well, it's non-alcohol. So no harm drinking 1 or 2 in a party.) Also it will be a good try for those who don't take alcohol but wants to know how beer taste like. 

But remember the limit and control yourself when drinking. It's after all consider soft drink to me and not good for our health if drink too much frequently.

Heineken 0.0 Beer can be bought from supermarket like Fairprice, Cold Storage, Giant, etc and also from online like Redmart. It is selling at a retail price of S$11.90 for a pack that consist of 6 can.

If you does shopping online in Redmart, don't forget to drop a sample can of Heineken 0.0 Beer that cost only S$0.10 to your cart before checkout for a try. Note that 1 account is allow 1 sample can only. (why not?? It's only S$0.10 right. 😁)

My Review

Last weekend, thanks to Best In Singapore, I had the chance to try the  Mac 'n' Cheese from Shepherd's Pie Singapore. 

Some of you might find this website familiar. As I have written a review on their Shepherd's Pie last year. You may check them out in the link here.

A year later, it is good to see that they have expanded their varieties of food.

It is easy to navigate and order from their website.

It will be good if the notice can be place in the website on the quantity left for the items. Items that cannot be fulfilled should not be accepted during order to avoid calling up customer on the unavailability and doing refund after that.

Maybe that day is just not my day or they have high ordering number? Because delivery came later than the time slot selected by 15mins. 😒

Oh yes. Just to take note, remember to place your order earlier to allow time for preparation. But if last minute, please take note the time slot. Like for example, for me, I order around 12:40pm, the next time slot available for me to select is at 2pm - 3pm. So if you are expecting your food to arrive 1pm, order should be place much earlier.

Nonna’s Authentic American Mac ‘n’ Cheese Bacon

This Mac 'n' Cheese contain a very strong and fragrance bacon taste that is not salty. Bacon is cooked to the right texture. 

Macaroni is also cooked to the right level of texture. Soft and creamy. 

Strong bacon fragrance and great chewing texture.

However, no cheese pull. 😭 Because I do find the cheese overcooked as the top that is covered with cheese is quite hard. And I personally feel that a little more cheese will add more fragrance to the Mac 'n' Cheese.

 
Overall, the Mac "n" Cheese contain a very nice bacon fragrance with a great chewing texture.

My Review

Are you a fruits lover and cannot live without having your fair share of fruits everyday? 

For me, my fruits supply at home are bought by my mum either from supermarket or wet market. And its always those few varieties. 

Last week, thanks to Best In Singapore, I tried ordering some fresh fruits from fruits delivery Singapore that are less commonly found from the supermarket.

I am more familiar with dried fig used to boil soup which is call 无花果 in mandarin. This is the first time I tried fresh fig.

The entire fig can be consume including the skin. It taste really fragrance and sweet. It is just like eating dates but without the sticky texture. It is also less sweet as compare to dates. The seeds inside make the fig a little crunchy to bite.

Passion fruit is very rich in Vitamin C and it helps boost our immunity. 

I have seen and eaten purple passion fruit. It is usually more sour. Yellow passion fruit is a first time for me. 

The seed is actually bigger than the purple passion fruit and it has nice white flesh.

To my surprise, it taste amazingly fragrance and sweet. The very little percentage of sour can  be taste from the seed. But it can hardly be taste as the sweetness and fragrance from the flesh neutralize it. The combination turns out amazingly tasty.

Ok I must first say I actually hate to eat kiwi. But with the long long list of health benefits for eating kiwi, I often force myself to eat kiwi. But I only eat golden kiwi. Because golden kiwi does not make my mouth tingle. The green one does. 🙈

This red heart kiwi is my first try too. It actually look so pretty inside isn't it?

It does not produce the tingle taste as well. It is less fragrance as compare to the golden kiwi. So still I like the golden kiwi more. 😜 

Vietnam Pink Guava

Guava is a common fruit in Southeast Asia. I usually consume guava with white flesh. And it is often less fragrance and I need to eat it together with plum powder for a better taste. 

Having use shower gel made from pink guava flavor only, I am pretty excited to consume this pink guava.

The flesh does look very beautifully covered in pink.

And I must say, it taste very fragrance and sweet as compare to normal white flesh guava. This pink guava taste delicious on its own. No need for plum powder.

Custard apple helps to fight free radicals, protects our heart from cardiac disease and also keeps our skin and hair healthy. 

The last time I had my custard apple is back when I am having holiday in Australia many years ago. And I actually fall in love with it.

Don't mistaken it to soursop. Custard apple actually have a different texture and taste as compare to soursop.

The flesh is less mushy and more solid. It is very fragrance and sweet. And actually quite filling too.

My Review

Do you have elderly at home that always told you that they have knee pain or discomfort? But they have constantly been having glucosamine tablets and yet still feel discomfort? 

Well, my mum is one of them. And lately, TV advertisement kept showing this Caltrate Joint Health UC-II Collagen. And my mum heard from others that the result is quite good. So I bought it for her to consume. 

The supplement came in normal supplement bottle.

Size of tablet is small.

And good to note that the tablet itself is quite small as compare to normal glucosamine tablets. You can see from the picture above, smaller than my finger tip. So it is easier to swallow.

My my was telling me she can already feel her knee joint discomfort reduced just after having around 3 tablets. She is still consuming now and result is good.

But to the person who help her buy, I am having quite a headache as it's been out of stock in stores and online. And when they do have stock, there is no promotion. 😅

Overall, this is quite a good supplement for the joint according to the result from my mum.
